A ParaYoga workshop with Katie Silcox

Tantra Vinyasa: Worship in a Divine Body

The teachings of Tantra say that the through the wisdom and primacy of our body, we can gain access to our own inner teacher. That teacher, accessible through pranic techniques, is a source of illumination and joy. This three day workshop is an exploration into the body as a sacred temple, and prana as the vehicle for integration and union. The end result of practice?  More success on both worldly and spiritual realms, true knowledge and the experience of life as something inherently beautiful.

FRIDAY April 15, 6:00 - 8:00pm

Tantra Vinyasa for Power and

Tantra Vinyasa views the body as a sacred temple. Come learn how to better “worship” this temple through awakening the dormant power of shakti in the body. In this workshop we will work with deep practices for delving into the stagnancy of the hips, belly and legs in order to free up the energy to move into the core of your being. Eat a light dinner and come prepared to work with bhandas, mudras and deep hip openers. This session will include pranayama and meditation.

SATURDAY April 16, 1:00 - 4:00pm
Tantra Vinyasa for Success and Happiness

Tantra says that we can have more auspiciousness (success and happiness) in our lives on both the spirit and material realms. This class will include a lecture on The Seven Tantric Practices for Auspiciousness, as well as the practical tools and techniques that the ancient teachings outline for getting us there. In this workshop we will work with kundalini yoga techniques including chakra work, mantra and meditation.

SUNDAY April 17, 1:00 - 4:00pm
Tantra Vinyasa for Awakening the Sacred River

According to most spiritual traditions, our spine - and more specifically, the subtle energy within it, is a storehouse of our most potent creative and illuminating energy. It is the abode of the spirit, the river of light, and the place where all our limitations can be dissolved. Don’t miss this important workshop on awakening the Sushumna nadi - the internal energetic channel that can lead us to the Divine. Some theory, as well as a dynamic practice involving asana, pranayama, bhanda and mantra.

An Ayurvedic Workshop with Katie Silcox
Radiance and Vitality Through Ayurvedic Alchemy
Sat. April 16  |  9:00 - 11:00am
Sun. April 17  |  9:00 - 11:00am

In this workshop you will learn the basic principles and practices of Ayurveda - an ancient holistic healthcare system designed to prevent imbalances in both mind and body. Why do this? So we can better embody the radiance and vitality of fulfilling our unique purpose in the world. This immersion is ideal for anyone who wants to refine their diet & lifestyle practices in order to better thrive! This workshop is also crucial for yoga teachers wishing to take their practice and teaching to the next level.  You will leave with a deeper understanding of the “sister science” to yoga - Ayurveda. Will include mostly lecture and group interactive (super-fun!) work.
