I am excited to share the teachings of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan® with you. After practicing for 24 years, I continue to experience the power of Kundalini Yoga and meditation to reduce stress and build inner strength to navigate the ups and downs of daily life. Since 2004, I have taught middle schoolers, adults and seniors, sharing yoga and meditation to calm the mind and uplift the soul. In January 2014, I completed the Kundalini Research Institute Level One Certification Training and earned membership in the International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association. My spiritual name is Siri Bahadur Kaur which means Princess or Lioness of Great Bravery and Courage. This name reminds me to call on my inner warrior to accomplish my goals. My day job as a hazardous waste specialist at the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources challenges me to continue with my practice, further my study of this technology and share it with the yoga community.
Join us the second Saturday of each month for the Aquarian Group Sadhana. Yogi Bhajan spoke of a time in history when our trust in the technology of Kundalini Yoga would be put to the test. That time is now. Conscious communication, strong nerves and a calm heart will allow us to successfully navigate the seas of change. We gather in the amrit vela (early morning hours) for a devotional group practice – to recite Japji, move with the breath and chant the Aquarian Mantras. This monthly event is free and open to all. Please arrive by 5:15 am to get settled. The practice starts promptly at 5:30 am and ends at 8:00 am. We adjourn to the Surya Café for breakfast and fellowship.
