Cricket Redman

Cricket Redman enjoys how the contrasts of life appear on the yoga mat: ease and work, movement and stillness, complexity and simplicity, strength and flexibility. She weaves these contrasting elements into a class to help students find their optimal practice, one that supports their body, temperament and experience. Cricket offers a grounded slow alignment-centered flow class that blends myth, movement, breath work and chant. As a relatively “stiff/strong” yogini that doesn't have the typical "yogabody", Cricket has become a propping master and provides many ways to work and expand on poses to fit the individual. She's also a strong believer in the uplifting power of inversions, so come expecting that challenge (although there will always be options if that's not your thing). She received her 200 hr YA-RYT from Sianna Sherman in Los Angeles in 2014 and continues her studies locally with Keith Borden and Meg Abene Newlin. She is completing her 300-hr training with Christina Sell and Gioconda Parker through the San Marcos School of Yoga.
