MADISON | $5 COMMUNITY YOGA | FLOW REJUVENATE

This class is taught by:

Erika Wilson

Erika Wilson has been practicing yoga since 2004, embracing it as a sanctuary through the peaks and valleys of life. What began as a physical practice has evolved into a lifelong journey of self-discovery, healing, and spiritual growth.

In May 2025, Erika completed her RYT-200 through the Perennial WISDOM Yoga School under the guidance of Megan Grace and Keith Borden. Her approach is deeply rooted in compassion and authenticity. With more than 23 years in the corporate world, yoga has offered her a wonderful counterbalance- nurturing her creativity, strengthening her resilience, and inviting more harmony into her life.

Erika teaches by creating a welcoming space where students can connect more deeply with themselves and their own wellness journey. She brings a unique blend of inspiration, soul, and sound to every class- curating personally crafted playlists that enrich the experience, deepen the connection between body, mind, and spirit, while heightening the senses. Erika’s mission is to share the transformation and bliss that yoga has brought into her life by creating a sanctuary where others feel safe to grow, empowered to heal, and inspired to discover their own light.

Miranda Gojdas

Miranda first discovered yoga when she took a class on a whim with her mom. The energy after that class kickstarted her love for the practice. In 2018, after the sudden loss of her brother, yoga helped her navigate grief and find new meaning in life. She is a firm believer in the world never giving us a challenge that we cannot overcome. Her goal is to share any and every lesson that she can, provide support and encouragement for conquering the fears and struggles thrown our way, and help people fall in love with themselves again. When she’s not on her mat she is traveling, enjoying the outdoors, occupied with gardening, or hanging out with her dogs.

Amber Melin

Amber completed her 200-RYT
certification through the Perennial Wisdom Yoga School Teacher Training in 2024 with
Megan Grace and Keith Borden. Her yoga classes focus on connecting with the body, energetic and physical balance, as well as
playfulness and joy. She strives to make all feel welcome, included, and appreciated in
her yoga classes.

Amber’s healing journey
has led her through many spiritual and non-spiritual modalities including yoga,
mediumship, meditation, therapy, and providing intuitive support and guidance for
others as “That Mystic Medium”. Always curious and wanting to learn more, she aims to
have a healthy mix of "woo" and skepticism. She incorporates both spiritual energetics and
scientifically supported elements into her classes.

Amber is the proud pet parent of two cats and two very stubborn dogs. She enjoys walks with her pups, traveling,
anime, dance, vegan food, coffee dates, and deep discussions.

Colin Holden

My yoga journey began when a house mate began leading morning exercises in our common living room. Ever since I have been called back to yoga again and again, each time surprised and delighted by the gifts and insight that bloomed from consistent practice. I have worked for many years with teachers in both the Vinyasa and Iyengar traditions. I want to share how a sustained, constant, energetic, and mindful practice can build and deepen awareness.

Beth Rosen

Hello, I'm Beth. I am a yoga teacher because yoga has brought a lot of joy
into my life, and I hope to share that joy with others. When I started doing yoga with my teenage daughter, I immediately loved the sense of peace and focus; the way it took my attention from the small irritations in my life and gave me time to be present. Yoga was a huge mental health support through the COVID-19 pandemic, and it helped me accept the transition of my children becoming adults and leaving home.

Yoga has also been a support for me physically. I feel the strength in my body in everyday life. When I bring physical strength into my meditation practice, I am able to focus for longer without needing to slouch or lie down. Yoga is truly for everybody, and I am a yoga
teacher because I want to help others to discover the joy of a yoga journey.

Brett Edgerton

Brett first tried yoga while looking for a new hobby and fitness option to reduce lower back pain. After years of exploring different classes and instructors, Brett fell in love with everything asana practices offer. His curiosity to learn more about yoga led him to Perennial's Yoga Teacher Training in 2024. While furthering his understanding and expanding his personal practice, Brett also realized a desire to teach yoga. He looks forward to teaching classes that build strength, flexibility, inner confidence, and mindfulness. He hopes to share his love for yoga to enhance life physically, spiritually and mentally. A self-proclaimed foodie, Brett also enjoys strength training, nature, golf and the arts. He stays busy working as a handyman.

Cortney Arnold

Cortney thrives on helping people connect to their bodies in new ways. Using breath and movement, Cortney will guide you to reawaken your hands, feet, and trunk – areas necessary for moving through the world yet often taken for granted. Cortney’s introspective practices will enable any yogi, seasoned or brand-new, to find embodiment, harmony, and a grounded sense of connection. Her yoga practice began in 2008 and has been a journey of self-discovery ever since: learning and unlearning what Yoga, community, breath, and spirit really mean.

Outside of her yoga practice, Cortney is a leader in the credit union industry. During free time, you might find her reading, watching TV with her kitties, or outside enjoying the beautiful world.

Alessandra Rella

For Alessandra, yoga has always been a way to reconnect with herself. After taking her first class in 2012, she immediately fell in love with the practice, noticing the powerful effects on body and mind. In 2025, Alessandra completed her 200-hr Yoga Teacher Training at Perennial Yoga with Megan Grace and Keith Borden and has also completed Yin Yoga Training with Kramas Yoga.

Alessandra is moved by the beauty of the ordinary and the journey of navigating what it means to be human. She seeks to create space to feel it all. In her classes you will find flowing sequences to release energy, challenges to build strength, and deep surrender to find rest. Alessandra brings with her inspiration from the natural world and is always seeking to learn and share the lessons that come from flowing with the cycles of nature.

Eric Jensema

Eric is fascinated by the mind-body connection as well as the healing power of movement, breath, and the journey inward. The power of yoga was clear from the start of his practice, and he quickly embraced it by completing his 200-hr yoga teacher training at Perennial during his first year of practice in 2024.

Eric's classes emphasize connection with the breath, the power of facing your fears, and finding a sense of calm within the storm of life. He believes in the embodiment of our being through the senses and often incorporates the poetic wisdom of modern-day musicians to help heal the heart and free the soul. His teaching approach includes listening to your body and balancing science and intuition, all while being informed by trauma-sensitive practices. Through his guidance, students can expect to explore a journey of self-discovery and healing, using yoga as a tool to navigate and embrace the complexities of life.

Meghan Behn

Meghan has found her way to yoga several times - always hungry. Whether hungry for joy as a dispirited teenager and discovering the thrill of a full inhale and complete exhale. Or hungry for connection as a young adult lost in the fragmented scenes of night life and taking the first steps into a public studio space. Or most recently, hungry for substance after closing her laptop in the early evenings and making the commitment to become a yoga teacher through Perennial’s Wisdom Yoga School in 2025.These pangs of hunger may be familiar and evolve over time, but a curious yoga practice can provide the sustenance to become the very best version of oneself.

Meghan’s classes are taught with the enthusiasm of a passionate and active yoga student. Practice will be energizing for your body and playful for your mind while encouraging a sense of belonging for your inner self.

Grace Kilpatrick

Grace has been on a spiritual journey her entire life, with yoga being an integral part to her life practice for more than 10 years. As an ordained Pagan minister, she brings a profound relationship with the natural world and welcomes the cycles of Spirit that flow through and around each of us. She completed her RYT-200 program in 2025 at Perennial Yoga and is honored to guide embodied yoga classes that allow for sincere exploration of asana and pranayama, inviting students to move with the rhythms of life - on and off the mat. Ensuring that all minds and bodies find rejuvenation and peace in yoga incorporates two of Grace’s core values: accessibility and inclusion.

Laura Tiller

Laura fell in love with yoga the first time she practiced. It relaxed and enlivened her body, mind, and spirit. It has been over twenty years and the love remains. The decision to teach felt like a natural extension of her career as an educator. Laura completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Perennial Yoga with Megan Grace and Keith Borden. It is Laura’s goal to use breath and movement to help students move deeply within, to travel to their personal edges, and to gain strength along with flexibility.
This Friday evening flow class is taught by recent graduates of our teacher training program. All are welcome! Please sign up in advance, and bring your own yoga mat if you have one. If this is your first visit to Perennial, arrive early to complete a new student waiver.

This class is held at our Madison location at the Garver Feed Mill.
