Crystal Ann Hanson is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher(E-RYT500), Certified Ayurveda Yoga Specialist (AYS), Certified Fitness Nutrition Coach (CFNC), Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP), Sacred Activist Leader and holds a BS in Psychology. She uses an integrative approach utilizing all of these modalities when conducting private client consultations, workshops and teaching classes. Crystal enrolled in her first 200 Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) in 2009 through the Himalayan Institute. After feeling the many emotional, spiritual and physical benefits that Yoga and Meditation brought to her daily life, she had a strong desire to continue to learn and share with others. Crystal has now completed a second 230YTT, 540YTT, Ayurveda Yoga Specialist Certification and Chair Yoga Certification. She is grateful to have had in-depth study-training opportunities with Indu Arora, Sarah Powers, Lauren Walker, Rod Stryker and many others from the Himalayan Institute and Kripalu for Yoga Nidra, Yin Yoga, Mudra, Energy Medicine Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Yoga Philosophy and Meditation. Her professional and personal studies are ongoing….. always a student of Life. Crystal teaches from her heart as she invites students to pause, connect, look inside and feel what is happening in the present moment, to observe the effects a practice reveals. Her classes are rooted in traditional Hatha & Tantra Yoga sharing from the lineage of Swami Rami (founder of the Himalayan Institute) and teachings of Indu Arora (International Ayurveda and Yoga). Crystal’s classes include Mantra (chanting), Mudras Pranayama (breath & prana practices) and other teachings from the Vedas (ancient books of “wisdom”). Crystal holds sacred that which Indu Arora has taught, “Yoga is a work IN, not a workout”. Crystal is honored to teach and share from all of her training, modalities and life experiences respecting an integrative approach. Crystal believes that we are ALL teachers and we are ALL students.

Cortney Arnold

Cortney thrives on helping people connect to their bodies in new ways. Using breath and movement, Cortney will guide you to reawaken your hands, feet, and trunk – areas necessary for moving through the world yet often taken for granted. Cortney’s introspective practices will enable any yogi, seasoned or brand-new, to find embodiment, harmony, and a grounded sense of connection. Her yoga practice began in 2008 and has been a journey of self-discovery ever since: learning and unlearning what Yoga, community, breath, and spirit really mean.

Outside of her yoga practice, Cortney is a leader in the credit union industry. During free time, you might find her reading, watching TV with her kitties, or outside enjoying the beautiful world.

Amanda Boerboom

Amanda believes we are all inherently whole, born with all the wisdom we need to live a wholehearted, fulfilling life. However, due to societal conditioning, life experiences, or trauma, we develop limiting beliefs, unconscious behaviors and patterns that block us from embodying our wholeness. As a 200 hr E-RTY, certified sex, love, and relationship coach, somatic embodiment practitioner, Mindful Grieving facilitator, and long time educator, she uses yoga, embodiment practices, somatic parts work, mindfulness, breathwork, and nervous system regulation tools to support her clients and students to live more integrated lives in which they can thrive and come home to themselves. In her trauma-informed approach she creates an inclusive space that invites students to (re)discover deeper experiences of presence, safety, love, acceptance, curiosity, compassion, and belonging. She also guides people to learn to build inner resources in joy, pleasure, and authentic power. With sincerity, reverence, and humor, Amanda infuses creative, dynamic sequences with eclectic music that empowers students to embody their wholeness.

Carla Coleman

Carla arrived in Perennial's Earth studio in 2012 and often says she was “born there”. The transformational practice of breath and body brought her Home to her self again. It has been her joy and pleasure to teach yoga at Perennial since her certification in 2014 from Perennial’s very first teacher training program. She is a yogi born and raised at Perennial Yoga!

Her classes are carefully crafted to provide a strong foundation in the basics of yoga asana in a vinyasa flow experience. Weaving yoga philosophy, dharma, poetry, and guidance into opportunities for relaxation, meditation, breath work, and physical movements, the fabric of her classes take form. Wide-ranging musical selections from traditional mantra to classic rock provide rhythm and support for energies to shift, rise, rest, float, and dance. Crystal bowls and koshi bells accompany savasana, bringing you home to yourself once again.

Carla’s intention is to introduce new students and reacquaint seasoned practitioners to a simple yet dynamic experience crafted to open the heart, rest the weary, soothe the soul, and energize the spirit in community. In this way we ready ourselves to shine our light into the world.

Carla is a lover of dogs, horses, travel, time in nature, in solitude, in friendship in community, and in the sanctuary of Home.

Mick Mac Ionnrachtaigh

Mick shares Yoga, Meditation, Pranayama and Breathwork, Reiki, and Past Life Regressions/Higher Self connection via QHHT. Mick has tried many mindful, spiritual, and healing avenues; and they are what he is most driven to share with others.

Mick has been a seeker from childhood. Raised Catholic, yet immediately exploring other beliefs and learning from druidry, buddhism, yoga, metaphysical teachings, and channelers; it is always evolving. In 2005, Mick took buddhist refuge, and he found yoga in 2009. Mick fumbled through most of life; fighting depression, anxiety, and trauma. Finally, after his eldest daughter was born, deep reflection clearly required a profound shift of direction and intense inner-work. Mick graduated from Perennial Yoga Wisdom School in 2021, became a Reiki Master in 2022, Breathwork with Jon Paul Crimi in 2022, ordained Ngakpa in 2022, certified as level 2 QHHT practitioner [past life regression/ higher self connection] in 2023, and completed 50hrs Yin Yoga training with Bernie Clark in 2025. Mick experienced profound results of these practices' timeless undeniable efficacy. Unity and wholeness aren’t ever a breath away. They are here. Now.

At Perennial, you might find Mick sharing Gentle Yoga in a Yin-Yang style (1st half Yang, Yin 2nd Yin), Yin Yoga / Yin and Nidra, and Rejuvenate classes in a vinyasa-based flow class which may vary from slower-gentle to more steady-intermediate, as moon cycles, day-energies, and class-energies dictate. Classes bring focus and guidance to interoception, body engagement, alignment, and breath; leaning toward moving meditation.

Our FLOW | GENTLE class incorporates creative vinyasa sequencing (breath-inspired movement), attention to alignment, breath awareness, and meditation to build strength, increase flexibility, calm the mind, and open the heart. For students newer to yoga or who prefer a slower paced practice.
